Packing the toys for delivery

I got to keep alot of stock on un-used box from various size. And also the cushioning for the item such as styrofoam, bubble pack, sponge and etc.

Choosing the right box size its important, so that the shipping cost will not be overcharge and enough space for the item and not being damage during shipping.

Most of the box I choose will be slight bigger, so that I have enough space to put cushioning such as bubble pack and etc. This is to avoid damage to the original item packaging/ box.

And I will fill the box with more cushioning stuff (depend on the item). And I will not use newspaper, because newspaper ink might dirty the original box.

And the box its seal with duct tape.

And the box will be wrap using a proper paper and not newspaper.

All labeling 'To" and "From" will be printout and stick to the box. I don't use handwriting, because there could be spelling error and other errors.

This is how I pack the item for delivery.

How to sell at Ebay.

Ebay account its FREE. And alot of potential seller and buyer around the world. I manage to sell alot of items at Ebay with pretty good price. Here its how I do it.

1. Create an account at Ebay.
2. List your items. Photo its important, but its limited to 3 photo. Put in the best photo for your product. Here its one of the item I manage to sell it to oversea.
3. Description. Put in the actual item conditions, your payment terms, shipping, and etc. Try not to trick or lie. It will give a bad image to yourself. The more item you buy and sell, and longer you stay at Ebay, and did not receive any bad comments, will make you more trusty seller.
4. Some potential buyer will ask bout the conditions such as damage. I email them the actual damage and condition of the items.
5. Most of the time, bidder/ buyer will need to pay for the shipping cost. Using PosLaju its good enough, and not too expensive.
6. Packing & send. Make sure you pack nicely, else if the item broken during the shipping, buyer will complaint.

Showcase: Selling Toys

When I started collecting Transformers in the mid of 2008, I spend alot on the toys.. come out to thousand. And looking into this kind of economy, I got to stop buying, yet still addicted to it. So, I sell of those old or unwanted, or not so favorite of mine, and using the money to buy a new one.

Here its a summary of what I did:-
1. Snap the photo of the toys
2. Survey on Ebay for the market price
3. Put it on Ebay for sales.. with bit lower price from the market value
4. Wait for potential buyer to purchase
5. Answer few questions.. and please be honest with it
6. Send more photo to potential buyer
7. Receive payment via PayPal
8. Send shipment to potential buyer

Toys are like antics, and you will be surprise how much collector willing to pay for it.

Showcase: Selling Shrimp and Snail online...

Turn your hobbies into money. One of my hobbies its keeping fresh water shrimp and snail. Most people keep it in aquarium as pets.

What happen its I was able to breed it in my house. Currently I have 3 tanks in my house and 1 tank in my office. Since the stock its overpopulated, I have decided to sell it off to make some money.

Places to sell:-
1. Ebay. Goto www.ebay.com.my and register an account. Its FREE. Put into the product you want to sell and wait for some one to contact you.
2. Forum. In Malaysia, there its few active forum on fish and stuff, and I was one of the members. Its always FREE for registration. Once you are active enough, you just need to post in the items you have for sales.

At the moment I only sell it to Penang people only, cash upon delivery.
