Gundam Gun .. repaint.. with classic/ universe OP

This is how the gun look like together with Optimus Prime. Well, kinna regret to paint it white, seem like either gray or white are nicer.

This is one of my old Gundam gun. I m redoing it. Sand it off all the previous color, going to re-glue it. Gundam stuff are nice, just the plastic its kinna fragile. Plan to put in screw to stronghold the piece.

Repair G1 Quickswitch

The right leg of Transformers G1 Quickswitch fell off. The plastic cannot be glue! I have tried many type, yet they still cannot hold it. So I decided to do the same method as I done for Insecticons Bomshell; drill and glue.
I m using small screw, to screw the two parts, after I drill a hole on it. As good as new!

I m planning to make the arms articulate using joints from Gundam .

Screw with a very small screw & glue.

Complete... and it seem OK!

I replace the missing horn. And since the size its kinda big, I need to remove some part and sand it to make it small so that I can fit.

Well, you can see that the KO version its slightly bigger, bout 15% bigger.

Thanks to Victor Prime from Transformers.com.my, he manage to get me a KO version of Bombshell, and with it, i was able to repair and replace those missing part.

Insecticons Bomshell repair

I got this Decepticons unit, Bombshell of Insecticons. It is one of the vintage toys. But since its being badly damage, so repair and repaint its needed.

One of the broken part its the body shield. I use the remaining plastic from model such Keroro and Gundam.

Cut it into the same size as the one which have broke off and missing.

Glue it with SuperGlue and let its few hours to dry. Once dry, I sand it to make it the exact size as the original plastic.

For the broken hand, I just use SuperGlue to attach it back. And for loose joint, I apply a layer of SuperGlue or nail varnish to the particular joint.

Repair & Repaint

Sometime we got old toys, or even the toys which color does not match to the original version. So we might need to do repaint or modification to it.
